Photo Notes:
This set is a perfect example of how shooting in raw can save your bacon later down the line. The lighting was colourful but dim and not optimally placed. The majority of the pictures here were quite dark and very purple due to the dominant purple stage lights. I used UFRaw to adjust the white balance and exposure after the fact. Unfortunately, since I had to shoot this at ISO1600, the monkeying around with exposure made for very noisy results. A quick pass through a noise reduction program knocked most of that off and here you see the end results. Hardly perfect, but a far cry from what would have been rather dismal by comparison.
