I've been eagerly awaiting the chance to photograph Incura since I bought my XTi. What better time than for The Bourbon's Halloween bash?
Incura lead singer Kyle Gruninger started the set out in a Michael Jackson costume but quickly ditched it and went all-out as he usually does. Incura's intense but technical attack kept the crowd whipped up. Expect big things from Incura in the future.
Mass Undergoe chose to go with a unified Anchorman theme for their costumes and set. Singer Dave Isbister dressed up as Ron Burgundy and played it to the hilt while bringing it in his wild style.
The lighting for this show varied wildly between barely lit and full-out rock concert glory. I shot in ISO1600 the whole time. The crowd was packed all around the stage, so positioning was difficult. The front-facing shots were taken from the back of the room on a small staircase with the Tamron at 75mm. One of these days I've got to get an 85mm f/1.8 prime.
