Featherz Edge, Innocent Bystander and Axiom live at The Bourbon, November 11, 2008.

Photo Notes:
The Bourbon on a Tuesday. First time for everything, I guess. This was Featherz Edge's CD release party. The show started late and there wasn't much of a crowd, but the bands brought it anyway.
The lighting for Axiom's set was largely subdued, with the purple usual stage lights and the occasional red scanner weaving its way through the fog.
When Featherz Edge and Innocent Bystander hit the stage, the lights went up to their regular headliner intensity and activity, making for some nifty shots. The heavy fog made for beautiful soft beams of stage light.
Speaking of light, it seemed like I was fighting the lights all night in one way or another, but the photos turned out okay in the end. I had to stick to my primes for this show, leaving the 28-75 in the bag. I shot almost the entire show with the Sigma 30mm, occasionally going to the Canon 50mm for close-ups.
