Savary Island, September 5-13, 2009 : Our trip to Savary Island. The photos are loosely grouped and not really in any particular order. I'm not very sure about the geography of the island, so I don't know where most of the photos are from.

TCRG at Robson Square, October 3, 2009 : Terminal City Roller Girls open scrimmage at Robson Square, Vancouver BC, October 3, 2009.

It was fun photographing the bout because there are about 20 different things happening in every photo. It was somewhat tricky to shoot because of the very strong backlighting from the art gallery steps in the background on the long shots and the beams of sunlight on the end of the track creating shadows and strong highlights. Manual exposure was the only way to go because the camera's light meter just couldn't comprehend the lighting conditions.

It was also the book release party for Chris Walters' new book "Punch the Boss" and the last big show at The Cobalt before it closed on the 30th.
